My Empire

I've been watching HBO's Boardwalk Empire recently and was unconsciously inspired. I went to a wedding last weekend and a vintage muskrat stole, a cloche hat, a ruffles dress and the amazing suede shows I found at Nine West called mastique.

Happy Anniversary!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary yesterday. Every year we go to the same restaurant called Nervosa in Yorkville which is where we had our first date. But for some reason we couldn't stand the place this year. It was so loud that all we heard were people yelling, dishes clanging and expensive cars racing down the street. After being seated we decided to just get up and leave and looked for a more quiet restaurant. We decided on the Bellini's and it was the best of everything. Our waiter was so sweet, the food was exceptional and my crème brûlé was the best I've ever had. I give Bellini 5 stars!!



I wore a black and white mini dress with my favourite gold bib necklace (I feel like cleopatra when I wear it) and black thong flats to keep it cute.

I just finished the autobiographical book House of Versace by Deborah Ball just in time for that 13 year anniversary of Gianni Versace Murder. Sad story, great book! I highly recommend it.

Tea Room

I love to enjoy tea in the evenings. It's especially wonderful when I use my antique tea cups. I started a collection about a month ago and now have 4 cups with saucers. When I'm real good I treat myself to scones with Devon Cream. So good!
Tip: To avoid scratching, use rubber tipped baby spoons to stir.
